Dr. Song is a Professor of Economics atUniversity of Nevada, Reno, USA and Dean of the Institute of Urban Developmentat Nanjing Audit University, Nanjing, China. He also is a Research Associate atthe Center for China Public Finance, Peking University, a Visiting ResearchFellow at the PKU-Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and LandPolicy, and an Adjunct Professor at Zhejiang University, Renmin University ofChina, Wuhan University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, andJiangsu University.

Dr. Song received his Ph.D. in Economicsfrom University of California at Irvine in 1992. His research interests andteaching fields include urban economics, transportation economics, and appliedmicroeconomics.  Dr. Song served as apresident of the Chinese Economists Society (2003-2004). He was honored as aChanjiang Scholar in 2008, the highest rank of scholarship available to asocial scientist in China and awarded by the Ministry of Education of P. R.China.

Dr. Jinlan Ni is a Professor of Departmentof Economics at University at Nebraska at Omaha. She obtained MS in Economicsat China Center for Economic Research (CCER) in Peking University in 1999 andPhD in Economics at Purdue University in 2004. Dr. Ni’s major areas of researchinclude Applied Microeconomics, Financial Economics, Labor Economics, andInternational Economics. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journalssuch as Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Applied Finance,Energy Economics, China Economic Review, Social Science Journal, China &World Economy, International Review of Economics and Finance etc.

Zhao Rong, Associate Professor inEconomics. Zhao graduated from Florida International University in 2008,receiving his Ph.D. Degree in Economics. His research interests include firminnovation, corporate finance, and the Chinese economy. He was an AssociateProfessor at Southwest University of Finance and Economics before he joinedIUD. His research has been published in Chinese top journals such as JingjixuJikan, Jinrong Yanjiu, and Guanli Shijie. His research also appears ininternational journals such as Research Policy, Emerging Market Review, Journalof Housing Economics, European Financial Management, Eurasian Geography andEconomics, China Economic Review, and China Agricultural Economic Review.

戴枫

Associate Professor of Economics at NanjingAudit University, has a PhD in economics from Nanjing University. Her researchinterests are mainly in Trade and labor market interactions, Globalization,poverty and inequality, Gains and losses of Sino-US trade, etc. She is the PIof China National Philosophy and Social Science Fund Project, “Rebalance of theGains from Sino-US trade in the Context of GVC”, PI of Philosophy and SocialScience Fund Project of Jiangsu Province, “Trade, biased technological progressand wage inequality”, and main participant of several National and provincialProjects. She has published nearly 20 papers in periodicals such as Journal ofFinancial Research (in Chinese), Journal of International Trade (in Chinese).Her teaching courses are mainly International Trade, Introduction toEconometrics, etc. She has won the Third Prize of the First Micro LectureContest in Colleges and Universities of Jiangsu Province (2013), Second Prizeof the First Micro Lecture Contest at Nanjing Audit University (2011),Distinguished Teaching Award at Nanjing Audit University (2011), Second Prizeof the Seventh Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award at Nanjing AuditUniversity (2010), etc.

Yan Wu is currently an Assistant Professorof the Institute of Urban Development (IUD) at Nanjing Audit University. Hejoined IUD in 2017. Yan received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics andManagement (2007) from Nanjing Agricultural University in China, and a PhDdegree in Economics (2017) at Wageningen University in the Netherland. Yan'sacademic interests include urban economics and development economics. His mainresearch is at the intersection of development and urbanization in the contextof China. His work has been published in both English and Chinese journals,including China Economic Review, the Journal of World Economy (in Chinese) andChinese Rural Economy (in Chinese).

Hao Guo received his Ph.D. in economicsfrom the University of Kentucky in August 2017. His research interests includeinternational trade, economic geography, and regional economics. Hisdissertation studies the heterogeneous effects of trade liberalization oncoastal and inland regions. Hao has taught Economics and Business Statistics atthe University of Kentucky and the Economy of China at the University ofCincinnati.
