宋顺锋

Dr. Song is a Professor of Economics at University of Nevada, Reno, USA and Dean of the Institute of Urban Development at Nanjing Audit University, Nanjing, China. He also is a Research Associate at the Center for China Public Finance, Peking University, a Visiting Research Fellow at the PKU-Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy, and an Adjunct Professor at Zhejiang University, Renmin University of China, Wuhan University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Jiangsu University.

Dr. Song received his Ph.D. in Economics from University of California at Irvine in 1992. His research interests and teaching fields include urban economics, transportation economics, and applied microeconomics.  Dr. Song served as a president of the Chinese Economists Society (2003-2004). He was honored as a Chanjiang Scholar in 2008, the highest rank of scholarship available to a social scientist in China and awarded by the Ministry of Education of P. R. China.

Dr. Jinlan Ni is a Professor of Department of Economics at University at Nebraska at Omaha. She obtained MS in Economics at China Center for Economic Research (CCER) in Peking University in 1999 and PhD in Economics at Purdue University in 2004. Dr. Ni’s major areas of research include Applied Microeconomics, Financial Economics, Labor Economics, and International Economics. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Applied Finance, Energy Economics, China Economic Review, Social Science Journal, China & World Economy, International Review of Economics and Finance etc.

Zhao Rong, Associate Professor in Economics. Zhao graduated from Florida International University in 2008, receiving his Ph.D. Degree in Economics. His research interests include firm innovation, corporate finance, and the Chinese economy. He was an Associate Professor at Southwest University of Finance and Economics before he joined IUD. His research has been published in Chinese top journals such as Jingjixu Jikan, Jinrong Yanjiu, and Guanli Shijie. His research also appears in international journals such as Research Policy, Emerging Market Review, Journal of Housing Economics, European Financial Management, Eurasian Geography and Economics, China Economic Review, and China Agricultural Economic Review.

戴枫

Associate Professor of Economics at Nanjing Audit University, has a PhD in economics from Nanjing University. Her research interests are mainly in Trade and labor market interactions, Globalization, poverty and inequality, Gains and losses of Sino-US trade, etc. She is the PI of China National Philosophy and Social Science Fund Project, “Rebalance of the Gains from Sino-US trade in the Context of GVC”, PI of Philosophy and Social Science Fund Project of Jiangsu Province, “Trade, biased technological progress and wage inequality”, and main participant of several National and provincial Projects. She has published nearly 20 papers in periodicals such as Journal of Financial Research (in Chinese), Journal of International Trade (in Chinese). Her teaching courses are mainly International Trade, Introduction to Econometrics, etc. She has won the Third Prize of the First Micro Lecture Contest in Colleges and Universities of Jiangsu Province (2013), Second Prize of the First Micro Lecture Contest at Nanjing Audit University (2011), Distinguished Teaching Award at Nanjing Audit University (2011), Second Prize of the Seventh Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award at Nanjing Audit University (2010), etc.

Yan Wu is currently an Assistant Professor of the Institute of Urban Development (IUD) at Nanjing Audit University. He joined IUD in 2017. Yan received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management (2007) from Nanjing Agricultural University in China, and a PhD degree in Economics (2017) at Wageningen University in the Netherland. Yan's academic interests include urban economics and development economics. His main research is at the intersection of development and urbanization in the context of China. His work has been published in both English and Chinese journals, including China Economic Review, the Journal of World Economy (in Chinese) and Chinese Rural Economy (in Chinese).

郭浩

Hao Guo received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Kentucky in August 2017. His research interests include international trade, economic geography, and regional economics. His dissertation studies the heterogeneous effects of trade liberalization on coastal and inland regions. Hao has taught Economics and Business Statistics at the University of Kentucky and the Economy of China at the University of Cincinnati.

李天舒

Tianshu Li is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Urban Development (IUD) of Nanjing Audit University. He was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Virginia before joining IUD in 2018. Tianshu received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Tokyo, and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2016. Tianshu’s interests include environmental & natural resource economics and development economics. His recent work has been accepted by the World Bank Economic Review.

张晓晨

Xiaochen Zhang received his Ph.D. in Agricultural, Environmental & Development Economics from The Ohio State University. He is trained as an applied microeconomist with primary research interests in regional & urban economics. Xiaochen also obtained a Graduate Interdisciplinary Specialization in Demography while doing his PhD study. Xiaochen's current research focuses on a wide range of topics within the general category of regional economics, such as the evaluation of large transportation project, the impacts of economic recession on local labor market and the regional variation of population aging. Prior to studying at OSU, Xiaochen received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Shandong University in 2010 and a MS in Population, Environmental & Resource Economics from Fudan University in 2013.
